  • Rev. Todd Weir, Co-Chair

    Rev. Weir is the Pastor at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor. He has served five congregations, most recently a nine-year ministry at First Churches in Northampton, MA. Rev. Weir has worked on housing and homelessness issues in several communities. He was a program manager for eight years for shelter and case management services for people who were experiencing homelessness in Poughkeepsie, NY. Rev. Weir was the chair of the Mayor’s Commission on affordable housing In Northampton, MA.

    Rev. Weir holds a Master’s degree in Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School (now part of Yale Divinity) and a Masters degree in Psychology from Marist College. Rev. Weir is a Professional Certified Coach who specializes in leadership development, discernment of purpose, and spiritual direction. He moved to Boothbay Harbor with his wife, Jeanne Fenton, in October 2021 and looks forward to working with the broader community.

  • Michelle Bouchard

    Michelle was born in Maine and lived in the Bangor and Millinocket area for the early part of her life but has resided in Boothbay Harbor for the past 24 years. Michelle is an optometrist in Damariscotta where she is co-owner of Coastal Family Eye Care (formerly McCormick & Bouchard Eye Care) and has practiced there for 27 years. She has been active in the community in many different roles, helping out as needed as her kids moved through the school system as Girl Scout troop leader, youth field hockey coach and most recently, Boosters Club officer where she helped establish the David Landry Memorial Scholarship. She also spends many Saturday mornings helping provide food, clothing and general help to Portland's unhomed population and is looking forward to contributing to outreach programs right here in our own community.

    Michelle graduated from the University of Maine at Orono and New England College of Optometry in Boston.

  • Byron Cortez

    Byron Cortez joined the CRC board in January of 2023 after being a volunteer with several CRC programs for most of 2022. Byron moved from his native country of Guatemala to the United States in 1990 at the age of 20 as a political refugee, his home in the United States until 2022 was Boston where his 25-year career consisted of working with fast growing U.S. based startups to help them expand internationally as their global footprint grew. This allowed him to work in every continent and interact with many different cultures, tribes, religions and people from all walks of life, which strengthened his belief that loving one another and lending a helping hand is what makes us humans, no matter where we live, what we believe in or what political affiliation we subscribe to. He has also worked as a volunteer in various roles during the last 30 years, mainly helping other immigrants adapt to life in the U.S.

    Byron holds a B.S. in Human Resources Management from U-Mass Boston, a Masters degree in Organizational Development from Emmanuelle College and is a certified Senior Global Human Resources Professional by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). Byron and his husband, Elliot, moved to East Boothbay full time in March of 2022 and they absolutely love their new lives in Maine and look forward to continuing to support this wonderful community at the end of the peninsula.

  • Peter Gardner

    Peter was born and raised in Gardiner, ME but he has lived full time in Boothbay Harbor for the past 24 years. The majority of his career was in banking; first in small business lending and then in retail banking, retiring after 14 years as manager of KeyBank’s Boothbay Harbor branch. Peter has been active in this community since moving here having served as Chairman of St. Andrews Hospital, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Windjammer Days, President of the Boothbay Harbor library, and also serving on the Student Aid Committee and the Railway Museum boards. In addition to being a member of the CRC board, he is also active on the board of the Food Pantry.

    Peter is a graduate of Tufts University and the University of Maine’s School of Law.

  • Brooke Hollon

    Brooke joined the CRC board in January 2024. She brings a 20 year background in non-profit development, professional recruiting and small business ownership. She also taught elementary school and volunteered in schools, K-12, for many years.

    Originally from Austin, Texas, Brooke and her husband, Andy, moved to the Boothbay area full time in 2021. They have three adult children and one school age child, plus two lively spaniels who are living their best life in Maine. Brooke has enjoyed learning about and helping with the Community Fridge, just one of the many programs offered by the CRC. She looks forward to spreading the word about the CRC and recruiting volunteers to help expand the organization’s reach in the community.

    Brooke earned her BA in International Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.

  • Angie McLellan

    Angie was born in Newport News, Virginia but has lived in Boothbay Harbor her whole life. She loves the area and our beautiful harbor and she can’t imagine not living near the ocean. Angie has worked for Bath Savings Institution for over a decade. Prior to joining Bath Savings Angie was a self-employed cosmetologist and also worked as a server at various area restaurants for 15 years. Angie starts her day at 4:45 AM with a four mile walk around Boothbay Harbor and has not missed a day in almost five years!

  • Sarah Morley

    Sarah was born in Boothbay Harbor and has lived in the region her entire life. She strongly believes that the Boothbay Region is a great, if not the greatest, community and that is why she is passionate about her job at the Boothbay Register since the mid 2000’s. Sarah and her husband, Andrew, have raised two children, Hannah and Nicholas who both graduated from Boothbay Region High School (as did Andrew and Sarah).

    Sarah grew up in a fishing family and believes that she has a bit of salt water running through her veins. She is committed to help businesses, family and community members thrive in this wonderful area we call home.

  • Hilary St Jean

    Hilary St Jean is a corporate transactional attorney licensed in California, D.C. and Maine with a focus on innovative companies. She works with entrepreneurs, executives and investors and her clients include private companies, start-ups and venture and private equity investors. She also has a background in entertainment transactions (including intellectual property matters, talent agreements, sponsorship and promotional matters). Hilary is a Boothbay Harbor resident and provides board-level advice and participates in various pro bono initiatives in connection with nonprofits. Hilary previously toured and worked in the music business running VIP events and handling certain promoter management matters on global tours for Madonna, The Rolling Stones, The Police, Aerosmith, Barbra Streisand, Aguilera, Van Halen and others. She looks forward to immersing herself further in the Boothbay Harbor community and being of service through the honorable efforts of CRC. She values diversity, inclusion and community.

    She holds a BA from Colgate University and a JD from The University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
