Through the generosity of donations, grants, and gifts, the Community Resource Council is able to operate its eight programs with zero state or federal funding.  Being free from that red tape allows us to help our community where it's needed, effectively and efficiently.

Addiction Outreach

The Addiction Outreach Program provides information, support and referrals to individuals and families seeking treatment and recovery services.

Food for Thought

Food for Thought provides nutritious, child-friendly, easily accessible healthy snacks for families in need.

Every Friday, this food is delivered to the homes of children for weekends and out-of-school times.

Community Navigator

The Community Navigator Program (CNP) is a free and confidential service designed to help families on the Peninsula meet essential needs and achieve goals and aspirations.

The Fuel Fund

The Fuel Fund is a heating assistance program of the Community Resource Council that assists residents of the Boothbay Peninsula (Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, Southport) by providing financial assistance and referrals for home heating needs.

Boothbay Community Rides

Boothbay Community Rides is a free driving service serving residents of the Boothbay Region. This volunteer based service is for those who are in need of a ride.

Set for Success

This back to school event gifts new backpacks and every teacher-required school supply to AOS98 elementary students.  Each new school year is celebrated with a fun vendor-filled fair and Community BBQ!

Community Fridge

Filled by community for community, the goal of the Community Fridge is to increase access to healthy food and reduce the stigma that can be associated with food insecurity.

Woodchucks

Run solely by volunteers, the Woodchucks aim to help community members by supplying firewood at little to no cost to families in need who rely on firewood as a heating source.
